Liner Notes Productions and FilmNation are in partnership that will create and fund unscripted programming titles with an international and global appeal. The first of many projects called "Mixing It Up with Marc Maron." Marc Maron leads top recording artists in a fun, intimate, and triumphant docuseries featuring interviews and multiple live performances in every episode.
The two media companies come amidst a growingly ambitious unscripted industry, withnetwork platforms such as Netflix, Disney, Amazon, HBOMax, A&E, Discovery and AMC with steady growth and popularity for streamers.
“Crossroads” presents the no-frills candor of Letterman’s “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction,” the VIP-access of “Springsteen on Broadway,” and the blend of current events and great music found in “Summer of Soul.”
“Crossroads” explores the communal power of music to unite, to entertain, to inspire, to provide escape, to challenge, to help grieve, and to heal. Shot as a docuseries on location, featuring filmic live performances with state-of-the-art audio recordings. The viewers will feel as if they are part of the live audience experience in every episode. Located 30 minutes from NYC, “Crossroads” is a national-destination small club in addition to being a soundstage with a live studio audience for our show.
LNP has signed Marc Maron as the Host for "Crossroads." LNP is currently working on booking A-list musical talent for Season 1. Production will begin early fall of 2022.
